Preparing for weathering

I need to 'weather' a lot of my models, and the Land Rover in the farm scene is top of the list. The process is not reversible, so I'm very nervous about attempting it. Before starting I have therefore photographed the model as supplied, and also tried applying weathering using Photoshop, which of course is easily reversed. I now need to bite the bullet and work on the model itself.
