The writing's on the wall...

Back in Newcastle, I met up with an old colleague for lunch after a meeting on the other side of town. Miraculously the meeting finished early so I had 20mins free before lunch, so went for a wander in search of today's blip.

And here, wandering along High Bridge I came across an arch, through to a passage with both walls covered in elegant blue writing. (You can just see a bit of the passage using Google street view, but clearly no writing when the Google car was there). I'll have to return when i've got time to actually read the 'passage'!
