Day 226 - Splish Splash

Made a different fruit cake this week pineapple and  cherry and also some bread rolls.  At lunchtime we watched an old film African Queen.  Just shows how movie making has moved on but it had a certain charm of its own and better than some of the modern stuff with violence and bad language.   Intrigued to find  which river it was filmed on and was relatively close to where i grew up.
Going to make some beetroot burgers for tea - hope they turn out OK.
My blip today is of the rain splashing on the patio during one of the lash downs.
A very wet day but did have some sunny spells.
