Above Seven Springs

I was early for a meet with my walking partner this morning and just had the chance to step out with the camera in the early light.  I love seeing the sunlight back light the leaves on the trees at this time of year, with the special bonus of it providing a pool of light on the bracken.

Then it was a longish walk along the Trent and Mersey Canal before heading up onto the Chase for the return leg.  We did get caught in a shower at one stage but overall it was a lovely autumnal day for what turned out to be a 16 mile walk.
