Waiting for the eye doctor

Our big outing for the day was this visit to the eye doctor. My mother in law has an appointment too, so we came super early (why??) And I'm waiting. I hope to find out if it's cataracts that are causing me so much trouble with my distance vision or just aging eyes.

When I first discovered I couldn't see long distances anymore, I assumed it was my windshield! Everyone got a good laugh with that, everyone but me.
