In the beginning

(Staycation back blip #1 of 2)

I arrived a little later than I expected. After I watched the Bills game (victory!) I started to pack in earnest. Check in at the lodge isn't until 3:00 so I had plenty of time. Since I'm not the wisest person, I thought it would be fine to lift a case of water.  Not my best decision ever. I did manage to get up here before dark following the administration of Tylenol and the application of a heating pad.

I didn't have much time to take many photos since my unpacking process tends to be longer than most. I still forgot a winter jacket, ear muffs, something to read and my crossword book. In my mind, I can picture it all on the sofa. I really could have used the ear muffs!

I thought this female Anna's hummingbird sticking out her tongue was a fun shot.  Other than a crop, it's SOOC. One more back blip for tomorrow and I will be up-to-date. I am able to get a little internet when the sky is clear (it's satellite) and as I am writing this, the sky is clear and the sun is falling behind the mountaintops.
