La Catrina
I bought her 23 or 24 years ago in Nogales, Mexico and hauled her all over town and across the border. Occasionally, I dunk her in water to get the dust off and just revitalize the clay.
I had planned on another photo this evening but Avelino did not send it to me. We had a good evening, my chicken bites were moist and flavorful according to my guests. I am determined to build my repotoire even if its something I don't eat.
My cake did not turn out as well as when I made it in March. Note to self: buy fresh baking powder. It was still tasty but it knocked our socks off the last time. The density was also totally different.
