Slog

Bit of a travel day. Left Rye after another good breakfast and with some blue sky around and headed home via a browse around Tenterden which was a pretty little town (even managed to buy myself a rather nice coat in a tiny shop).
After we’d left there though there were some diversions and huge rainstorms so it was a slightly tricky journey.
Poor T has been recalled to work just as he was hoping to get stuck into his gardening business, but hopefully just a temporary cover for another venue and he won’t be back for too long. He’d also discovered a typo on his new business cards....not having a good day!
He has to start work on Friday so can’t join me at the seaside, so I set off to collect the kids myself. They were both pretty excited and delighted at getting some face paints and play before bed.
