After forty days and forty nights spent out in the wilderness (I may exaggerate slightly) I got on my bike again and went for a little ride this morning. Layered up, in the drizzle, local stuff, and it was alright. I liked it.

This afternoon I had a stationary ride in the kitchen. That was alright too.

Tonight, I really need to start my book. I'm almost embarrassed to say that until last week I'd never read 'The Handmaid's Tale' but put me in a cottage in the middle of nowhere with no bike and no laptop and....reading got done! Next up - 'The Testaments'.
