Price Rise

While we were away, the price of coffee has gone through the roof! I have been buying coffee from the same company since our arrival almost ten years ago. It started at 120 pesos per kilo, went to 130 after a bit, and was most recently 140. I was shocked to see the price had risen almost 25%. The new price remains a bargain compared to what I pay when in the United States (around $4 per pound), but I was still a little surprised at the amount of increase.
