Breaking the pattern

I made this pie today and am a little bit delighted  pleased with the result (see extra). I have used Luna Pic's "comic" setting to make it a bit more abstract (with the help of E, eldest granddaughter! :))) 

We took a photo when we had taken the first serving out. I also made a babka (see extra as well)
