Birthday bubble!

Mum and Dad joined us for dinner tonight as it’s the last evening possible as the girls go to their other grandparents tomorrow and school on Monday/ Tuesday.  Just six of us. We are celebrating all their birthdays!  Hence the cake made by my daughter-in-law.   Vegan and delicious! 

We had a great day with our DIL joining us for lunch.  She is such a lovely girl!  This morning our new panes arrived to replace the blown ones.  Spent time upstairs while the lounge ones were done then the girls helped me do our Halloween window.  We are part of a pumpkin Challenge.  The local children and parents go round looking for numbers in decorated windows!  Later in the day I took the two girls to look for some numbers under our umbrellas! (It’s rained all day! )   We only found a few, but I don’t think everyone has finished putting stuff out.  

Our little one loves puzzles!  Helped me do some of mine on the iPad!  

At the end of the day our son and DIL brought our three drawer filing cabinet downstairs for us!  Now all we have to do is get someone to take it away!  

The girls will arrive tomorrow morning for our last day together!  We are having loads of cuddles!  We’ll see them outside at weekends so long as rules permit but no cuddles till Christmas!
