Thursday night

Today was the Prophet Mohamad’s birthday, and the UAE had a public holiday. As I work for a Saudi firm, I was working. 

After work, I moved a few things around in the spare room, which has a combination of things from our old spare room (minus the bed), maid’s room and camping store.

We then went to Al Seef for fish’n’chips. Lovely huge portions of Haddock. ‘The Chippy’ have opened a new place in Al Seef, which is a mix of food outlets, and short term serviced apartments. We stayed there when it was a new residential compound nine years ago. 

Afterwards, it was another trip to IKEA for shelving for the Utility Room and plastic boxes for the spare room. We built the shelves, and Karen emptied the last of the kitchen boxes.
