Fire Alarm !

A letter arrived today informing me that due to the pandemic there would be no random fire drills in our complex of 42 dwellings. A leaflet was included with instructions about what to do in case of fire. That evening all the fire alarms went off so I grabbed my keys and coat and dashed downstairs, through these main doors, and out to the assembly point, along with a few others.  The fireman here is checking the alarm system. No fire engines were needed and after half an hour it was declared safe to go back inside. I didn't hang about to find out what the problem was as my feet were cold in my slippers !
