Wednesday Mooch

The weather is really glorious just now. And because it's half term, we get to go up the hill an hour later than normal.

And with the clocks having gone back too, that means it is really quite nice and warm by the time we get there.

Th old retirement cottage is looking a bit bleak. The long grass that was the front "garden" has been destroyed by cattle and so the wreck stands out from the dry earth as if to say "I am old and falling to pieces. Come and knock me down."

Sometimes I can sympathise with that sentiment!
