Happy fall!
We recently went to a pumpkin farm with friends. It was cold and windy, but the kids had fun and that's all that matters. Arturo picked a 30lb pumpkin (husband to son: "UH... YOU SURE?")!
It's officially been two months since we moved into my childhood house. Arturo is 100% used to the house now, which means (unfortunately) he has forgotten this was his grandparent's home. Video chatting with them every day has been helping him to remember them, but it's pretty obvious he doesn't consider them as close family members anymore. How fast he can forget!
Homeschooling has been going well too. Super relaxed about it since play is more important for toddlers. I do miss going to the library classes and special events though. My "mom friends" and I were sharing each other's worries about our toddler social skills due to COVID isolation and our curiosity on how they will be as they get older. We can only keep doing what we can, right?
To keep myself entertained, I also opened up an etsy shop! Nothing too fancy... just simple printable arts people can hang up in their homes. Encouraging words for themselves or others. (If you want to check it out... www.etsy.com/shop/inkandpaper139 )
I can't believe it's already the end of 2020.
I guess those are all the thoughts for today. Ha.
Happy Friday!
