A slight impediment

We went out to move a dahlia and transplant a rather large agapanthus.
However we encountered a slight impediment when we rediscovered the root of the Portuguese Laurel we dug up two years ago.
Much digging, sawing and hand axe work was needed to remove it. At the critical moment the gov gave a heave on the pick axe handle and it came straight out of the ground. She is now bragging she did it all on her own.....
