Last Day in Tenerife

The lovely hibiscus bushes surrounding the hotel pool have stunning red blooms. Outside the hotel along the pavements are amazing cacti, poinsettia, oleander, jaccaranda, and palm trees. I love seeing different vegetation.
We spent a lazy time drinking two jugs of sangria and watching people go by, on foot, in wheel-chairs, tandem wheel-chairs, rented bicycles, fold-up type bikes, and every now and then street vendors on foot came around to sell their wares - rolex watches, sunglasses and the like, friendly and not persistent. In the background the Fred-Olsen ferry pulled in and boats went out.
A nice relaxing end to our holiday.
