Believe it or not this saga played out in a very (The Boss's favourite) Chocolate and Coffee joint much to the dismay of The Bossess who is not given to such shenanigans

Had mislaid her Tuffett,
And gone Trick and Treating instead.
A Spider beside her,
So quickly surprised her
