The leaf collector

Not quite sure why this elderly gentleman was carefully collecting leaves, they were a beautiful golden colour.
I imagine that this must be pretty much the end of the autumn blips for me, it is very windy and the forecast is for lots of rain this weekend.
The rumours swirl that England may be about to go into full lockdown which really, after my experience of NZ lockdown earlier this year, is not lockdown at all. Perhaps this should have happened earlier, sharp but shorter rather than this drawn out tediousness.
Politically, Labour's knickers are in a twist with Jeremy Corbyn being suspended from the party and that dreadful man Cummings finally being investigated by police for his movements during last lockdown.
