Soggy Saturday

This was the cheerless view from my kitchen window around 2.30 this afternoon. No hint of the hills beyond the mist, nor sign of the strong winds which have been the overriding feature today.

My tv went on the blink - probably due to the aerial being affected by the gales - halfway through the Scotland v Wales Six Nations game. My first thought was that I'd miss Strictly tonight, but luckily I'll be able to watch it live on iPlayer.

At the moment the BBC news is full of doom and gloom as we await the announcement of a further lockdown in England from the PM...
