Bond, James Bond
Sad news that Sean Connery has died, that most famous scion of Edinburgh who WAS James Bond.
Elsewhere, I swam this morning (the 2 chatterers were there) and after breakfast with mum took her home. She is well, throbby head but no ill effects. I've written to Lothian Buses about the step not being lowered.
It's very squally outside as Storm Aiden hits, better here than in the west. The leaves are filling my pond. So a day of relaxation and some cross stitch, the first time for quite a few days. Willow is venturing out more but still doesn't like sudden movements. I wonder what happened in her past to make her so feart.
There was interesting call with #2 soon out in KL celebrating Hallowe'en. His (American) friends couldn't believe that need had tumshies at Hallowe'en not the imported pumpkins. Luckily there was a Blip to reinforce the point. And yes, he was out, dressed up, in a bar with about 15 folk. That's what happens in a country that knows how to control Covid-19 more effectively than the UK.
And I'm waiting for Boris. It may mean J and D have to return to France quicker than planned.
Hibernating seems like a good idea this winter.
