Windy

When the wind strengthened this morning, I went out to pick all the apples remaining on the tree, so we have 12kg to eat or preserve. It was disappointing to have to put three barrow-loads of windfalls [not just from today] onto the compost heap, but the tree has been so prolific this year, and I've not been able to see people so much to give them away or leave them in the "spare food" box at work.
