Isle of Skye tartan.

This lovely tartan will feature in our son’s wedding when he gets married next year. The Isle of Skye tartan is made up of heathery purples, burgundy brown, and sea greens with an off-white/grey stripe. The design represents the colours of the 'Misty Isle.’

Watched the Wales v Scotland rugby match on TV - they finally managed to play their 6 Nations game cancelled in March! It became Scotland’s first win in Wales for 18 years, 14-10. Good strength and depth in the team today - this proved vital in the second half, with injuries and reshuffling players.

The Prime Minister eventually made a rare Westminster coronavirus statement - England to enter, (5 November midnight!), a form of lockdown, until 2 December; seems remarkably like what Central Scotland has been doing for weeks. Furlough scheme to be extended, sadly too late for many who lost their job recently, or indeed today.
