Mendick Hill, Pentlands

Had a glorious walk today with my group - beautiful blue sky and sunshine throughout. This was my first photo of the day, taken from West Linton Golf Club, just before we set off. You can see a bit of snow remaining on the north-facing side of the hill. We were able to take our time over lunch and dawdle back, unlike other recent walks when we've had to keep going to keep warm. I did eight miles again with no problems at all - I'm a very satisfied customer as regards my new hip!
