Last Day

Tonight we are going to get a frost so it's the end of the growing season.  I've already removed the pepper and tomato plants from the straw bales we grew them in this year.  They worked out pretty nice...the plants were away from the weeds and higher up to make harvesting easier.  The drawback is that now I have 4 bales of used straw to dispose of.

Anyway, I wanted to take this opportunity to say good-by to the Impatients that bloomed so nicely all summer long.  It's been nice to see their red, cheery faces every day.
