Brunel statue

I was chatting to a friend recently about the Brunel nightclub which was where I lived growing up and part of a number of venues named after Isambad Kingdom Brunel. He built the first railways in Swindon and is a well renowned figure learned about in the town.

My new job is in an area of the town that means getting to the town centre is a little easier and I walked passed this statue of Brunel today. I took a photo for my friend who is no longer in my town so thought I would share it here too.
