Red billed gulls
No, I'm not feeding you any more... this young red bill was very persistent, as they often are, but the adult would have none of it.
I photographed Castle Rock with the mist this morning, and experimented with some different foregrounds, but then walked down to Redcliffs on the Avon/Heathcote Estuary to see if the birds were up to anything interesting. Only a couple of terns, but heaps of gulls, oyster catchers, kingfisher, shag, and these two guys were the most interactive of the bunch.
