Long tailed tits

A mostly quiet day which I spent watching the birds, reading and speaking to the children about the month ahead following last night's lockdown announcement.  

Sam is staying put in Brighton (he hopes that most of his new flatmates will too) and Ben will be driving back to Leeds to stay there.  Both were here over the long summer lockdown so a change of scene is welcome.  I assume James will continue working from his bedroom in Oxford as he has been since March, though I've yet to confirm.

Martin and I are back to working from home, and although grateful to be working at all I wish I felt even a smidgen of the cleaning/sorting energy that I had in abundance last time we went into a national lockdown.
