The re-working of the vegetable garden at home is proving quite an undertaking, but that alone was not enough. I'd committed to support Diabetes UK in their #ukwidecycleride. From the 1st to 30th September, a virtual sponsored event to cycle coast to coast across the UK. A number of different target miles were provided from 120 miles upwards, so I decided that I'd plot a road route across the country at the latitude where I live. That turned out to take my from Abberiedi in Wales to Harwich in the East, a total of 340 miles in the month.

Here I am on a 52 miler, the 4th leg of the journey. Wish me luck!
