Lockdown table

So lockdown has also been announced in Portugal!

Rory’s mums breast cancer surgery has gone well, she is tired but looks fabulous. Thanks for the nice messages! In the end, Rory will go back to the UK but I will stay in the land of Lisbon lockdown. It’s a bit scary but as I think I will be going to work anyway, exercising and I don’t have many friends anyway, things are going to be pretty similar.

There is now significant pressure to get everything we need for lockdown furniture wise (not bog roll, I’m ok to queue). I am DELIGHTED with our new table. It extends to double this size, cost 50 euros plus 15 for chairs and is a really solid companion. Much of Saturday has been spent taking the legs, top and chairs across Lisbon on the metro.
