Chevron

These branches stood out for me in the late afternoon light against a dark background in shadow. I was also taken by the golden reflection in the shimmering water. Although I tried to change my position to avoid overlapping the branches behind, the light had moved with the setting sun and the reflections weren't as good, so I preferred this image.

I was able to bring out a little detail in the darkness to avoid being totally black behind the branches. I thought the way the branches leaned over together with their reflections reminded me of chevrons.
