Another day....

Another walk in some ancient woodland.

It is interesting how tree roots travel many yards on the surface seeking for a way to penetrate the underlying rock.

This wood is very good for ferns but not so good for fungi. The extra shows a small piece of what I think is Yellow Stagshorn.
