Blowing the cobwebs away

A spectacular amount of Darwinism at work today on the roads.

As well as the usual speeding/road rage stuff I experiences a car jumping the red light on Eton Avenue and cutting across me on Adelaide Road (I braked and sat on my horn for a good wee while so he got the message).

Even more life limiting, a cyclist decided to go diagonally across a three lane highway at Swiss Cottage, then (obviously) stopping abruptly in the third lane before joining the contraflow.

When ever friends come to London by car I advise them to treat every other road user as irrational. If you expect the worst then at least you are prepared.
