Curves

Dont really think of Skipton as a curvy sort of place, more stone walls and cobbles than modern sweeping architecture.
But blip challenges really do make you think out of the box and attempt images that otherwise might have passed you by.
This little amphitheatre ( at least that’s what l think it is ) is hidden away and only became known to me during the last lockdown when l was walking with Rebecca and looking into many of the nooks and crannies around the High Street.
Never seen anyone use it but these are strange times of course.
As it’s situated near a world famous coffee house and and locally renowned fish and chip shop it would be a good place to sit and eat and drink a take away.
It will be interesting being here in lockdown to try and find new thing to photograph while out on my walk when there are no people and less cars.
Bought five jigsaws while out, they will be most welcome in the new lockdown.
Had a flat white in ‘beanloved ‘ devouring and trying to memorise each sip, top coffee. I asked if they would revert to take aways from Thursday, they haven’t decided yet. It would be good to support an independent.

Saw that my home village was cut off from both Otley and ilkley this morning after torrential overnight rain flooded both roads leading out.
