Flowing fast

The River Mole is flowing fast after all the recent rain, but not yet over its banks at this point, just upstream from Leatherhead. It has at last stopped raining today and we have intermittent sun and strong winds, blowing the soggy leaves all over the place. 
N was looking forward this morning to his last game of golf before lockdown, but the course was too wet for him to use his personal buggy. Instead he met his friends at the club for a beer, and they plan to meet again on Wednesday. All Christmas events planned at the club have been cancelled.
