Softer

It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve walked through these pastures. Things are certainly a lot softer underfoot so I am probably in wellie boots for my walks until the spring.

I joined the rush for a pre-Lockdown 2 haircut. My barber was resigned to losing a month’s trade but at least optimistic about having a very busy December should these four weeks remain at four weeks. I don’t think they will but I know when to keep my pessimism to myself. 

I will have offered variants on this shadow tree before, there’s still some foliage so we’re not quite in the wintry phase yet. Indeed it felt quite warm out, at least until the rain returned.
