Meet Cakeyboi, A.K.A. Stuart.

He is a friend I made from The Clandestine Cake Club.. The club meets every 6 weeks or so and there is always a theme. My favourite one so far has been 'Ice-cream Flavours', for which Stuart made a heavenly mint choc chip cake.

Stuart started a cakey blog, after I badgered encouraged him to, and it's fab! He is a fan of all things American (food-wise anyway), which is right up my street too.

He has a rather dull office job which is in no way related to his passion, and he has a dream of opening his own cafe one day. I really hope it happens for him, as he is a very talented baker with great ideas, loads of passion and enthusiasm for everything related to baking.

The Great British Bake-Off invited him to audition for the show after reading his blog - but, alas, he wasn't selected. Such a shame as he's such a lovely person and so good at what he does that he deserves success and recognition for it.
