Lythe Valley

Some really heavy down pours today which was a nuisance as I really wanted to let the new hens out, but don’t want them to get wet. I expect they have come from heated housing! I will let them out tomorrow as it’s meant to be dry!
We had a walk in Brigsteer Woods and the view of the valley was a bit surprising, I hadn’t realised we had so much rain! I think nature may win here fairly soon and drive the farmers away. Hope so. They are terrible with the slurry spreading here and the Reed beds would be such an improvement.
I managed to get square #21 done too, see extra. Four to go!
