Hippeastrum

These two arrived in the post today, from daughter Julie. They are now potted up and ready to go and hopefully we will have beautiful flowers in the New Year.  They are not the usual more commonly seen flowers, so they will be different from the survivors from other years. We look forward to seeing them in bloom.  Although they are commonly known as Amaryllis, I understand that the correct name is Hippeastrum.
