Feeding the gulls
A standard November day of report writing, with a quick visit to the garden centre for peat-free compost so that I can sow the wildflower seeds I gathered this autumn.
By the time I got out for a walk, the sun had already set so I changed my camera settings to do some in-camera movement shots of the autumn colours. I spotted this crowd of gulls being fed, with a group of joggers watching, and just clicked the shutter without knowing quite what I would end up with.
I was quite pleased with this image, which has the loose feel of a painting and captures some of the feeding frenzy of the gulls. Probably better viewed large, if you like this sort of thing!
