Turdus merula

Not a very attractive Latin name, so i'll just call her "Female Blackbird"..........
Always nice to see in the garden, even if sometimes they're hard to spot while they're foraging for food under the shrubs at the bottom of the garden.
This particular bird, after having a feed on the table, went on to dig up all of the moss which had grown between the slabs on one of our patios. I'm not sure if she actually found any food, but i'd guess she wouldn't have gone to all the trouble if it wasn't gone to be worth it.
