Snipe

There were four snipe in the breakwater stones along the Kirkwall Bay path, one is just to the right of the shot. They start to use the breakwater in daytime at this time of year, there was one there on Sunday, so numbers going up. They also use the yacht marina breakwater and one edge of the Peedie Sea. I think I've seen about 32 in one day in the area- not bad for a town! I was able to get a couple of shots and retreat without flushing them.
