Waiting for...Godot?!

I went to see the nurse at our GP practice this morning for a routine blood test.

I was very fortunate to be called in within a couple of minutes of arriving.

Sadly, one of those waiting wasn't so lucky...!  ;-))  **

(Note: I'm intrigued by the anatomy of the knee-joints here. Not what I was taught at medical school.)

** NB. Apologies to anyone who thought this was really outside the GP's...I confess to a degree of artistic licence today: this was actually outside a house some distance away. But I did pass it on the way to the practice and took the photo then.
