The magic of autumn

I drove to nearby Simonburn and wandered through the woods down to the stream. There is a lot of water in there at the moment.

I loved the old bridge with the fern at the edge of it. You can see that a lot of trees and branches are strewn around here. I was able to carefully descent towards the bridge to capture this shop. I thought it was quite magical.

In other news, we wish our friends in the USA all the best for this crucial election. I don't expect I will stay awake, but I will check in to see what is happening if I wake during the night.
