Moments
Touching up some paint in the Hut first thing... Now just the woodburner and the steps, both jobs I'm only marginally in control of. Hmphhhh.
Then the day took a lovely if unexpected turn.... instead of a telephone interview for a radio piece we decided to actually meet and put a wander in nature to the test.
Despite thinking we'd picked the best part of the forecast we each experienced torrential rain as we arrived at Ullswater from the West and the East.... but fortune favours the brave... we stayed dry.
I may even have pursuaded the lovely T to try the world of blip....
Extra: every day is a school day, the microphone fluff thing is, T expertly informed me, known as a dead cat. I'd surmised that this would prove far too much temptation for Missy so arrived early and gave her a pre-wander so she'd snooze in the car. She looked so forlorn when we returned post interview (which sounds far too formal... more post happy chatter) that I took her down to Aira Point and threw a stick for her till she gave up. By which time it was dark enough to capture this gorgeous sky. Blip done.
