Starstuck

Charlotte and I were helping out with shooting a showreel tonight for The Star Bazaar Burlesque. Starla Bright has been kind enough to model and help me out on numerous occasions. She was my first ever BoneShaker life portrait and recently also danced around in front of a green screen for a project for work that will see her on hundreds of digital jukeboxes through out the UK. I took over 500 pictures tonight of their performances and most of them probably wont be able to be shown anywhere near blipfoto... However it was this candid shot that really excited me.

Starla watching from the balcony her colleague Atheria Heart's performance. The lighting in the theatre was quite dark and the glow from the house lights in the balcony (all the girls had to change by) lights the wonder in her face. It is quite a timeless portrait of wonder and she has that slight look of marylin in those grainy colour pictures of the 50's...
