Working from home
The husband is 'WHF' most days of the week at the moment (and given Thursday.. for the foreseeable). There are some benefits - such as an afternoon trip to the swings (complete with puppy in a rucksack worn on my front for his first ever outing).
Another day of home schooling, battling with IT (remembering that my phone has to be used for live lessons as the camera isn't working on the laptop), the iPad decided to stop working at one point, then just as I got the eldest going on something, the battery ran out on the lap top and the puppy didn't make it outside at the same time... The youngest was tasked with making a 'potion' this afternoon. He came up with a concoction of: shreddies, cornflakes, oil, honey, sugar, raisins and mixed herbs. He then ate most of it and took the bowl up to the husband to try! I managed to get away without tasting, but the youngest did say my cooking is better. He loved making his potion.
Today I'm grateful for:
The first masters assignment being submitted this morning - and not being in the group who are still working on theirs now (it's due in by midnight this evening!)
Afternoon trip out with the husband
Managing to just about keep it together when a cup of juice was spilt over the lap-top (it was caught in time and no damage)
