WINNERS Round 1

A big competition night for my camera club with the first round of an inter club competition. This is the first of three rounds between member clubs of the CACC (Chiltern Association of Camera Clubs) and potentially the toughest round.  We were up against stiff opponents - the most amazing images from everyone.  Our judge for the night had a difficult task but coped admirably, sifting out the merits and weaker points from some varied and outstanding photographers.

ImageZ ended with a clear lead which puts us in a strong starting position.  The next two rounds will determine which of all the clubs go into the Finals next April.

This could have been a great blip of the moon instead. I watched a tutorial from Olympus which made it look easy.  It wasn't!  However, by the time I got to try the shot the moon was far too high in the sky so perhaps not a fair assessment. Some other time.
