Glenfinnan Viaduct

No Jacobite Express puffing over this today, weekends have stopped now and the weekdays finish in two weeks time.  The train goes down south and comes back in Easter.

We walked up the glen towards somewhere beginning with A!  Looked for salmon leaping in the River Finnan but no luck.  Saw a bird of prey in the distance but not sure if it was a buzzard or a kite.  

It was time to leave and have thoroughly enjoyed the three nights here in this area, the hotel was fabulous, not flashy just homely and staff so friendly and helpful.  We will be back!

Stopped off in Glencoe at the Cladaigh Inn for a bowl of soup, there was rain as usual through here and cleared a bit going over Rannoch Moor.  Passed the three hours to home by listening to a True Crime Podcast - The Silk Road.  Fascinating story.

Good to see the wee dog and she was pleased to see us.
